Product Designer

• Assist in design of land development projects
• Prepare engineering drawings to specified standards
• Transform rough design info into construction documents
• Utilize AutoCAD for various design tasks

Civil Design Engineer

• The Civil Design Engineer will assist in the design of land development projects including grading, drainage analysis, street design, street widening, water distribution, sewage collection and storm drain systems
• Additional tasks include preparation of SWPPPs, WQMPs and SUSMPs based on the new general permit and water quality requirements by county
• Transform initial rough product design information into working construction documents using AutoCAD
• Use AutoCAD software to establish horizontal and vertical alignments, profiles, cross sections and perform earthwork calculations
• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D in preparation of plans for drainage, precise grading, water, sewer, storm drain, street improvements and site planning for land development projects
• Prepare engineering drawings to specified standards
• Design basic construction documents and prepare special exhibits and constraint maps using field data and engineering research

• Transform initial rough product design information into working construction documents using AutoCAD
• Use AutoCAD software to establish horizontal and vertical alignments, profiles, cross sections and perform earthwork calculations

Civil Design Engineer - Land Development

• Lead TAIT's Fueling Design team
• Design construction plans for fuel storage tank installation projects
• Understand project needs, parameters, and agency requirements
• Prepare permittable and constructible plans
• Coordinate with clients, cities, counties, and agencies
• Perform SPCC inspections and prepare SPCC Plans

Fuel System Designer

Project & Program Management

• Will assist the Director with marketing and client development for the Division
• Identify design criteria and oversee an efficient design and plan preparation
• Solve design problems using engineering calculations and following general design standards
• Establish project controls and ensure accuracy and quality in plans
• Ensure technical quality, profitability, schedule, project staff coordination, client communications and follow-up
• Spearhead plan processing at public agencies
• Interface daily with our clients, develop proposals, negotiate scopes and fees, ensure timely billing and collections, and change orders
• Manage project staff to include design engineers and CAD operators, with the ability to mentor junior design staff in basic engineering procedures and techniques
