College Track is a comprehensive college completion program that equips students confronting systemic barriers to earn a bachelor's degree, in pursuit of a life of opportunity, choice, and power. From ninth grade through college graduation, our 10-year program removes the academic, financial, and social-emotional barriers that prevent first-generation students from low-income communities from earning their college degree. In 1997, we started with 25 students in East Palo Alto, and today, we have twelve centers located in communities across California, Colorado, Louisiana, and the D.C. Metro Area with 3,800 scholars and 952 alumni on the path to upward social mobility.

College Track scholars graduate from college at a rate that is two and a half times the national average for first-generation college students from low-income communities. One year out of college, 84% of our recent graduates are employed full-time, and 90% of alumni 30 years and older report earnings greater than their parents. By supporting our students to maximize the value of their college degree—minimize student loan debt, secure internships, and limit the need to work while in college—we prepare them to succeed in the 21st century economy.

• Develop and implement standardized college counseling strategies
• Collaborate with team to guide scholars through college applications and financial aid
• Ensure program fidelity and alignment of college counseling strategy

Accounting, Payroll & Financial Planning

• Ensure accounting deadlines are met with the highest degree of accuracy
• Process payroll, oversee expense reimbursement and reporting, maintain and file all business licenses, property taxes, and other regulatory filings
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in person Tues-Thurs with the flexibility to work remotely on Mon & Fri

Staff Accountant 

Project & Program Management

• Deliver instruction curriculum and facilitate academic preparedness to young people
• Cultivate strong relationships with teachers, counselors, and caregivers
• Manage a diverse caseload of high scholars
• Analyze student data
• Build and maintain authentic relationships with young people
• Advocate for scholars pursuing a life of opportunity, choice, and power
• Work with students in-person Monday - Friday from 11:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. with flexibility for occasional weekend hours
