Description

• Develop propulsion thrusters, fluid components, tanks/pressure vessels, and fluid systems for spacecraft • Own critical spacecraft propulsion hardware/systems • Interface with a production team to translate designs into spacecraft

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics • 10+ years of mechanical or fluids design, analysis, or build experience • Advanced degree in related fields is a plus • Proficiency in CAD packages and GD&T standards • Solid understanding of compressible and incompressible flow, thermodynamics, thermochemistry, mechanics, materials, and electrical circuits • Experience with FEMAP, ANSYS, or similar FEA software tools • Knowledge of metallic and fluid system manufacturing techniques and aerospace materials • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment • Passion for advancing the commercial space industry and human spaceflight
