Description

• Led and managed a team of quality professionals, domestically and internationally, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance practices throughout the product lifecycle • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards • Drive the development and maintenance of quality systems, including process controls, product testing, and inspection protocols • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and processes across several product categories • Analyze customer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for product quality improvements • Manage supplier quality programs, including audits, performance evaluations, and collaborative improvement initiatives • Oversee the handling and resolution of quality issues, ensuring timely and effective responses to customer complaints and regulatory inquiries • Report on quality performance metrics and insights to senior management, providing strategic recommendations and action plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, and/or Chemical Engineering, or a related field • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with a proven track record in a leadership role within the CPG, Automotive, and/or Medical device industry • Strong knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards relevant to the CPG sector • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements related to product safety and quality, including CPSC, FDA, and EPA regulations • Strong understanding of product testing standards and validation methodologies • Understanding of risk management principles and the ability to develop and implement risk mitigation plans related to product quality and safety • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma, and the ability to apply these methodologies to improve product quality and efficiency • Familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions based on available information • Experience with consumer complaint management processes, including complaint investigation, resolution, and reporting • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities • Experience managing teams and driving results through others • Six Sigma certifications will be a plus • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced
