Description

• This role will focus on building automation where possible and designing processes to achieve a frictionless support experience • A successful IT Automation Engineer must have a strong understanding of standard internet and SaaS applications (ServiceNow, Slack, Google Workspace, Okta), hardware (Apple/Windows), mobile phones and devices, and operating systems and working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Javascript) or middleware such as Workato, Zapier, Okta Workflows or any other automation tools • The ideal candidate will also have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 2+ years supporting the IT Helpdesk environment • 2+ years of experience supporting Mac and Windows devices and MDM platforms • 2+ years experience working in a heavily SaaS-based environment with responsibility for managing user/role-based access to systems • Familiarity with designing processes in ServiceNow and Okta Workflows • Working knowledge of Python and Javascript • Working experience with API integrations and documentation: This includes reference guides, tutorials, code samples, and troubleshooting guides • Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure support for your customers and team • Proficiency in maintaining automation equipment • Experience with AI tools and machine learning • Experience with project management (Jira) • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform complex system tests • Proactive mentality and problem-solving skills • Consistently meet or exceed deadlines and deliverables • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical skills • Ability to communicate well with other members of the development team • Ability to keep up with the latest technologies • A desire to continually upgrade technical knowledge
