Description

• Responsible for developing a distinct profile of every acre of land across millions of properties in the contiguous United States • Identify the most appropriate programs on the NCX marketplace for every landowner to find new revenue streams for their land while taking nature-positive action like tree planting or harvest deferral • Use Python (FastAPI, Celery), Postgres (PostGIS), eoAPI, AWS (including CDK, Lambda, Batch, Elasticache), GDAL, and more to provide expertise to other teams at NCX

Requirements

• Proficient in Python • Advanced knowledge of geospatial concepts, terms, libraries, and techniques (PostGIS, GDAL, and shapely should already be well-loved friends) • 2-5 years of experience working on geospatial problems • Embrace the challenges of an early stage startup: are able to focus on the big picture, and are nimble in adapting to a dynamic natural capital industry
