• Apply technical knowledge to solve design problems • Generate 3D models and 2D drawings • Conduct mechanical analyses of structures and assemblies • Fabricate and test functional prototypes • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors • Challenge assumptions, prioritize problems, recommend solutions, and implement them • Work with diverse experts and team members • Own full-stack problem-solving with real-world constraints

Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field • >5 years of detailed design experience with structures and mechanisms • Excellent communication skills for multi-disciplinary teams and external vendors • Familiarity with the product development process • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing techniques • Strong analytical skills and engineering fundamentals • Proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D drawings • Fluency in prototype fabrication and problem-solving skills
