Description

• Drive user testing efforts for existing and upcoming software to enable us to advocate for the user in our decision-making process • Write research plans and discussion guides and go into the field for proof of concept and usability testing • Build rough prototypes and other prompts to assist with field research • Run online and in-person user studies, recruit participants, collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data • Collaborate with designers to turn user study results into design recommendations and directions that will improve the user experience of Zipline delivery • Present and discuss research findings to interdisciplinary teams of stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and designers

Requirements

• You’re currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology or Cognitive Science • You have experience in applying human-centered research techniques to product definition and designs • You have a core understanding of UX and design processes, preferably through college-level coursework or direct experience • You’ve planned and run UX research studies including user interviews, desktop research, usability testing, and surveys to gather valuable insights into user behaviors • Your work is showcased in a portfolio that demonstrates you experience with core UX research methodologies and skillsets

Benefits

• Our internships are full-time positions, in-person at our South San Francisco office. We will host our Fall 2024 interns from September to December. • The starting cash range for this role is $34 - 38 / hour. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and working location.
