full time Sr. Application Analyst - Oracle

JOB OVERVIEW:

Responsible for implementing and supporting business system solutions and applications for Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. operating business units as well as operating companies within North America on behalf of IT-SSC. Responsibilities include managing full cycle implementations and support to meet business requirements and developing documentation. The primary platform is Oracle EBS distribution and Finance modules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manage system application projects, providing technical direction and oversight, including development of project work plans, budgets, resource estimates, and timelines. Monitor and report status. * Direct the day-to-day activities of project team members, including employees and contractors. * Analyze business process in order to document requirements, and recommend alternatives. * Implement new/modified automated systems. * Provide overall technical and functional direction for projects. * Negotiate with vendors and clients to control project scope and resolve issues. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with other teams within the IT organization. * Perform other related duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: * BS/BA Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relative professional experience. * Plus a minimum of four (4) years of IT applications with 2 years of progressive experience in project management or Application specialization including the design and implementation of Oracle ERP systems. * Ability to focus on customer requirements with excellent collaboration skills. * Ability to lead teams by providing coaching, guidance, encouragement and overall support. * Advanced knowledge of Oracle application design principles, practices, systems development and analysis. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Superior analytical and problem resolution skills. * Working experience with Oracle EBS 11.x or greater; Modules OM, Inventory, PO, GL, AP. Experience with large multi national, multi language environments desirable. * Working experience with Oracle and database tools, including TOAD, SQL, PL/SQL programming (Packages, Stored Procedures & Triggers), JDBC. * Working experience with Unix – Solaris. * Familiarity with entire SDLC, source code management, deployment. * Experience with AS/400 – technical and functional. * MacPac, WebMethods EAI, Web Applications, and applications on AS/400 platform is desirable. * Must be able to work effectively in a team environment. * Must be prepared to travel as required in support of other Operating Companies within the Toshiba group companies. Some travel maybe for extended periods of time due to the size and complexity of Oracle implementation at other OC’s.
