full time Channel Sales Manager - IP Video Products

JOB OVERVIEW:

Responsible for selling Toshiba’s IP Video products to the VAR (Value Added Reseller) and Distribution channels. The position is based out of your home office however local candidates work from corporate offices in Irvine, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Establish relationships with key decision makers in IT Distributors and VARs. Secure “Executive Buy In” to actively promote Toshiba IP Video Products. * Launch and provide ongoing expansion of VAR Programs. * Negotiate Marketing Programs with IT Distributors. Maximize the effectiveness of marketing programs by utilizing existing resources both within TAIS and outside of TAIS. * Prepare detailed forecast sales by customer by model on a monthly basis. * Work with TAIS Finance department and customer’s accounts payable to ensure orders credit issues do not impede achievement of sales forecast. * Perform other duties as may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

* BS/BA Marketing, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience. * Plus a minimum of ten (10) years in direct sales, with experience selling directly to Distribution (e.g. Ingram, Synnex, Tiger Direct, Tech Data) * Proven skills in development and implementation of VAR programs and pricing strategies. * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to proactively recognize issues and to develop solutions & processes/programs to exceed expectations. * Outstanding written and verbal skills with the ability to present to senior management and influence and gain the confidence of both internal and external customers. * Proven track record of building team consensus and collaborating across functional lines. * 50% national travel will be required.
